The trial operation of the first phase of Changchun Metro Line 1 is getting closer and closer. Changchun's first subway line has attracted great attention from the general public, and it will also greatly facilitate citizens' travel. On the 26th, reporters came to the place where "Little Snow Leopard" was born on Changchun Metro Line 1. At CRRC Changchun Rail Bus Co., Ltd., relevant experts gave a detailed introduction to the subway project status, major events, and technical highlights. It is understood that the "Little Snow Leopard" is manufactured based on the concepts of science and technology, humanities and environmental protection, integrating the regional characteristics and cultural characteristics of Changchun City, and fully adopting advanced, mature, safe, reliable, low energy consumption, low maintenance costs and low emission technologies. We designed subway vehicles that meet the needs of the people of Changchun. In March 2013, the Changchun Metro Line 1 vehicle project was officially launched. On December 31, 2016, 10 trains were delivered to Changchun Line 1, and on May 19, 2017, 21 trains were delivered. section, the last train is expected to arrive at the end of June.

"Little Snow Leopard" is a 6-car subway train that can run 80 kilometers in one hour at the fastest; it is also very cold-resistant and can operate at low temperatures of -35°C. Each train has 216 seats, a capacity of 1,470 people, and a maximum capacity of 1,888 people. As the saying goes, a fast train depends entirely on the headband, but "Little Snow Leopard" changed this sentence. The "Little Snow Leopard" subway train is a four-movement and two-traction type. There is no power system at the front of the car, only a braking system. The power system is on the four carriages in the middle, so the train is not driven by the front of the car. In addition, the "Little Snow Leopard" has many technical highlights. The reason why it can operate at a low temperature of -35°C is that the train has extremely high thermal insulation performance through the application of inert gas, polymer materials and thermal insulation structure design. The hollow layers of the door and window glass are filled with argon gas, the outer glass of the passenger compartment window is coated with LOW-E insulation film, high-performance insulation materials are installed in the cavity of the aluminum profile of the car body, and the car body structure and passenger compartment floor are installed. High-performance thermal insulation materials are installed between them, and the passenger room door area adopts a special thermal insulation structure design.

In the factory area, the reporter saw the last "little snow leopard" that was about to be delivered to the train section. Several monitors could be seen in each subway car to provide passengers with comprehensive guidance information services and real-time news broadcasts. There is an LED dynamic map above the carriage door to provide passengers with travel plans after getting off the car. In addition, the vehicle is also equipped with signs to guide passengers, and the disabled area is equipped with horizontal handrails of appropriate height to facilitate the disabled people to hold on. The side walls are equipped with slopes to facilitate the use of disabled people and provide a comfortable place for standing passengers to lean on. In terms of safety, in addition to conventional safety devices, each car of the Changchun Metro has four emergency door-opening devices. When the driver cannot open the door, or passengers want to escape from the car in an emergency, they can use the emergency device to open the door.
